See the smile she has but the reality she faces daily is difficult. She lost her parents to AIDS. Her grandma of 75 years is taking care of her and of her elder sister aged 13. We were informed of their living condition and I personally went to see how they live. I found Latifa cleaning plastic bottles ready to go to sell them so that she can earn her daily bread. The roof of their house was almost non-existent and we have to go to our pocket and remove what was there in order to buy iron sheets for the roofing in order to protect these young girls and their grandma from bad weather especially during the rainy season.

Fortunately Latifa is healthy and HIV/AIDS free. She is currently in 2nd Grade. She says that she would like to become a doctor. She has seen the sufferings of so many kids in her village and she wants to be of help to them
